Over the years, just what I have seen of cigarettes that were thrown on the ground and out car windows could easilly add up to enough to fill a dump truck. If you comment, the brilliant ones say "They are biodegradable!" Umm ya - take a look at a street corner or intersection and see all the biodegradable cigarette butts piled up by the curb. I am sure they have only been there a few days or maybe even weeks. NOT! It's trash people! How would you like me to toss my ice cream or gum wrapper out of my window in to your yard or on your street? Paper is biodegradable... eventually - right?!I actually had a neighbor a couple years ago, while talking in the yard, take his last puff and flick the cigarette in to my yard. When I asked him to pick it up before he left - he looked at me puzzled and said "Your kidding right?" WOW - how far have we gone? Get your garbage out of my yard you moron!
I know there are respectable smokers out there, but they seem to be the rare ones based on what I have seen and experienced.
And, we all know, (but just in case you didn't) - "Smoking is bad for you." Put trash in the trash can and keep your butts in an ashtray and out of my yard!
